Registration for the conference, plus all tutorials is being handled by a single registration process. A separate registration fee applies for the conference and for each tutorial for which you register, but you can register for all events on a single registration form.

The deadline for special discounted registration fees for early registration is April 13, 2005. Online registration after this date is still available, although not at discounted rates. Registration after May 5, 2005 will be accepted on-site only.

Hotel Reservation

In addition to registering to attend the conference, you should also separately reserve a hotel room at the Grecian Bay Hotel, where the conference will be held, or Grecian Sands Hotel. The cut-off date for reserving rooms at special rates is 5:00 p.m. local time at the hotel on April 30, 2005. Please note that there is a limited number of rooms at this discounted rate and that these rates also include breakfast.

General Information

Conference Registration includes attendance at all conference sessions and exhibits on May 10 through May 13; Conference Lunches, and refreshment breaks on those days; the Welcome Reception on May 9; one ticket to the Conference Banquet; and one copy of the Conference Proceedings. Note that breakfast is included in the special room price. Conference registration does not include Tutorials. Additional tickets for the Conference Banquet and additional copies of the Conference Proceedings are available at additional cost.

Tutorial Registration includes attendance at each tutorial for which you register; a copy of the tutorial notes for that tutorial. You may register for more than one tutorial; each registration fee is separate. There is a discount when registering on more than one tutorials. Please note that in order to register for tutorials, you need to register either in the conference or the workshop.

Workshop Registration includes attendance at all sessions of the workshop; lunch and refreshment breaks during the workshop; and one copy of the Workshop Proceedings. Additional Workshop Proceedings are available at additional cost. Conference Proceedings, conference attendance, tutorial notes, and tutorial attendance are not included with workshop registration.

Member registration rates are available for members of ACM SIGMOBILE, ACM SIGMOD or IEEE TCDE. You must provide your membership number with registration. If you are not currently a member, you should consider joining, getting your membership number, and then registering to get the discount registration fees.

Student registration fees are available for full-time students. You must provide your student ID number with your registration and must show proof of full-time student status such as your student ID card at the registration desk at the conference. Student registration includes all items in the full registration except the ticket for the Conference Banquet.

Payment Methods: Fees can be paid either by credit card or bank transfer. Please note that personal or company checks cannot be accepted. Credit card is highly recommended for payment of registration fees. Registration without payment will not be processed. The Registration Chair will not be responsible for identifying funds transferred directly into the account when the name of the participant is not mentioned. Nor will the Registration Chair accept charges of bank fees associated with the transfer.

All prices are in Cyprus Pounds (CYP). Payments in other currencies will not be accepted.

Please note that you are required to pay handling charges for bank transfer of the registration fee. Also, a copy of a bank transfer form must be sent to the MDM 2005 Registration Chair immediately after submitting the online registration form. The copy confirms your remittance, just in case your payment is not confirmed by the Registration Chair.

Cancellation Information: Written requests for refunds must be received by the Registration Chair no later than April 28, 2005. Refunds are subject to a CYP £35 service charge. Registered participants who fail to attend or notify the Registration Chair of cancellation by the above date are subject to the full fee.
