Call for Tutorials

The IEEE International Conference on Mobile Data Management invites
proposals for tutorials. Tutorials will be held on the first day
of the conference and can be half-day or full-day. Recognized
experts in the area of mobile data management will report on
the state of the art in distinct fields. Potential speakers are
invited to submit their proposal (see below). A non-exhaustive
list of possible topics relevant to MDM:

- Management of mobile objects
- Data management in mobile ad hoc networks
- Data management, aggregation, and dissemination in sensor networks
- Data management for location-based services

Please check also the call for papers in order to meet the focus
of MDM.

Proposals

Proposals should contain the following information:

- Title of Tutorial
- Indication of half day or full day tutorial
- Name, affiliation, and contact coordinates of speaker
- Rational: the overal objective of the tutorial
- Outline: a brief structure of the tutoria
- Intended audience: what prerequisits are required to understand the tutorial
- Biography of the speaker

The bio of the speaker should clearly identify this person as an expert
in the research area of the tutorial, i.e., by providing references to
publications in this area. If tutorials have been given before, please
state so by naming the conference, title of tutorial, and number of participants.

Important Dates

Tutorial submission deadline: December 10th, 2004
Notification of acceptance: January 31st, 2004

Please note that a minimum number of participants will be
required for a tutorial to take place.

Proposals for tutorials should be send as PDF to the tutorial chair
