Visiting Academic Positions 2011-2012

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Cyprus has a number of vacancies for Visiting Academics at the ranks of Lecturer, Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor.  Applications are being accepted in all areas, but we are particularly interested in:

Theoretical Computer Science; Security; Machine Vision / Visualization / Human Computer Interaction / Graphics; Operating Systems

A visiting appointment is for one semester (Spring semester:  15 Jan – 31 May; Winter semester: 1 Sept – 31 Dec), but it can be renewed for up to four semesters.
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in a relevant subject and BE FLUENT IN GREEK (both these requirements are mandatory).

Monthly gross salaries, in Euro, for these positions are:

Visiting Academic (Professor)                          €4.214,73
Visiting Academic (Associate Professor)       €3.788,59
Visiting Academic (Assistant Professor)        €3.594,01
Visiting Academic (Lecturer)                             €3.134,77
