Currently a Research Fellow at Imperial College, London, funded by a Marie Curie Intra-European
Fellowship (IEF) award. Andreas Panayides received the B.Sc. degree from the department of Informatics
and Telecommunications of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2004, the M.Sc. degree
in Computing and Internet Systems from KINGS College in 2005, and the PhD degree in Computer Science from
the University of Cyprus in 2011. His research interests include medical video processing and communications,
eHealth applications, and mobile telecommunication networks. He has published 6 journal papers, 2 book chapters,
15 conference papers, and 6 national workshop papers in these areas. He is also a research collaborator
with the department of Computer Science at the University of Cyprus, where he is a member of the Electronic
Health (eHealth) and Network Research (NetRL) Laboratories.
